As part of its ongoing mission to modernize the educational process and to remain at the forefront of innovation, Collège des Frères – Jerusalem organized a specialized training workshop on Artificial Intelligence (AI) for its teaching staff.
The session was conducted by Dr. Hammoud, who excelled in delivering both theoretical insights and practical demonstrations. He presented a variety of innovative applications showing how AI can serve as a powerful support for teachers in lesson planning, student evaluation, interactive learning activities, and even in solving complex scientific and linguistic challenges.
Dr. Hammoud stressed that the responsible integration of AI should always complement, and never replace, the role of the teacher. He emphasized that the educator remains central in guiding students toward creativity, critical thinking, and ethical awareness, while AI serves as a tool to enrich and facilitate the learning process.
Teachers from different departments—languages, sciences, and mathematics—actively engaged in the workshop. They expressed their enthusiasm for the practical examples shared, such as enhancing language skills through AI-powered conversation and correction tools, using data analysis and virtual experiments in science, and strengthening logical reasoning and problem-solving in mathematics.
The workshop concluded with the school administration affirming that this initiative represents only the first step of a larger strategic plan to embed Artificial Intelligence into the educational framework, fully aligned with the school’s academic theme for the year: “Towards a Leading Educational Renaissance.”
