Collège des Frères in Jerusalem held a special meeting with the homeroom teachers at the beginning of the new academic year.

The meeting addressed the main responsibilities of the homeroom teacher as the vital link between administration, students, and parents.

In his remarks, Brother Principal Daoud Kassabry stated: “The homeroom teacher is the primary educational leader. He must accompany his students with love and responsibility, and be a role model in behavior and belonging.”

Discussions highlighted the importance of daily monitoring of students’ academic and behavioral progress, and of fostering a spirit of responsibility.

The meeting also focused on how to deal with new educational and pedagogical challenges that may arise this year.

The administration emphasized the importance of close cooperation between teachers and administration to achieve educational excellence.

The gathering concluded with a call to strengthen effective communication with parents in support of their children’s educational journey.
